Anyone can look at a page and can tell something is off. It’s not exactly hard to look at a page and tell that it needs to be touched up for any number of reasons. The thing about it, though, is that not just anyone can sit down and set things right. That’s when it’s time for editors to get to work.

editorial: ode to manga groups

Imagine, if you will, that a chapter of your favorite series was just released and you’ve been looking forward to it for the past week or so. You download it with haste, tear through it faster than it took to get it, and, after savoring it for a few minutes, you’re ready for then next one. Of course, that’s not always the case, but you can’t deny it happened more than a few times, right?

It’s nothing wrong with that, but, for a moment, I wanted to shine a light on the process if only to help fans appreciate the effort a little more than before.
