Character Study?

Time to start off something new.

With character study, I’m going to randomly pick characters and take a good look into  who they are. Manga talk: Bradherley’s Coach

Coming from Samura Hiroaki, the same mangaka that does Blade of the Immortal, Bradherley’s Coach was a tale I expected to deliver on many levels, but it still managed to surpass my expectations.

Manga Talk: Lady Snowblood

While it is one of those series that is perhaps better known for the movie that spawned from it, the manga for Lady Snowblood loses none of its charm in the least.

editorial: ode to manga groups

Imagine, if you will, that a chapter of your favorite series was just released and you’ve been looking forward to it for the past week or so. You download it with haste, tear through it faster than it took to get it, and, after savoring it for a few minutes, you’re ready for then next one. Of course, that’s not always the case, but you can’t deny it happened more than a few times, right?

It’s nothing wrong with that, but, for a moment, I wanted to shine a light on the process if only to help fans appreciate the effort a little more than before.
